Here is a small selection from the day (hit ‘more’ or ‘continue reading’ to view more photos…). Click on the photos themselves to view larger! Thanks again to my subjects and the girl’s parents!

Old Felixstowe Pier

On a wet and windy day I headed down to the old Felixstowe Pier. Only have a vague notion of where it is it took me longer than I thought to reach it from where I was parked. The rotting and weathered wooden beams held a lot of character and I was glad I went to the effort of seeking it out. Here are four images from the day – click on the link ‘continue reading’ to view them all.

This year I had the privilege of photographing the pre-school group near Eye again. Last year we had 17 families – this year we squeezed 19 into a full and exciting day. What a lively and entertaining bunch they were! Once again thanks to Chris and Zoe for helping out – you superstars! Read more to see a few of my favourites from the day!

Sommerfest – a few candids and a chance to experiment with post-processing

by admin on Sep.15, 2009, under Events, Miscellaneous

The end of year talent festival at a language school in Germany (Henke Schulungen) gave me an impromptu opportunity to take some candids of the performers… and a chance to experiement with two techniques: black and white and duotone conversion and tone mapping. Here’s an example of each… and more examples when you click on ‘continue reading’ or ‘more’ below.
